Make Thriftstore Cowboy Vintage your online vintage clothing shop! We offer a wide range of clothing from the 1960′s, 1970′s & 1980′s – including hard to find, original vintage t-shirts. Our story goes something like this:

Boy loves vintage T-shirts and collects them. Girl loves vintage clothing and the thrill of the thrift. Boy meets girl. They hit it off. Thrift shopping quickly becomes the dating activity of choice and clothing stacks up to fill a small apartment. Boy and girl turn to eBay to sell their wares – Thriftstore Cowboy Vintage is born.

Our namesake is derived from “Drugstore Cowboy” a 1989 film by Gus Van Sant, in which Bob Hughes (Matt Dillon) lives to steal pharmaceuticals for the purposes of resale and personal use. Though acquire our stock by much more mundane and legal methods, we prefer high quality vintage threads over hospital grade pain killers (no, really).

From humble beginnings as eBay sellers (and with an original inventory mostly comprised of sweet vintage tees) Thriftstore Cowboy Vintage has grown to become a full fledged online vintage shop. We offer a full spectrum of men’s and women’s vintage clothing from the 60′s, 70′s & 80′s. While the love for old T-shirts continues, we have come to add a fantastic collection of unique finds: seventies sport and dress shirts, totally funky poly disco shirts (you know, 1970′s polyester shirts with the wild patterns!), dresses, blouses & tops, boots, sweaters, coats and jackets.

About Our Vintage Clothing

All of our items are thoroughly washed and inspected prior to being posted for sale or placed on the sales floor. Please be aware that the majority of what we carry is pre-owned vintage clothing (with some retro and modern selections) and in some cases show signs of minor wear and natural aging. Flaws such as rips, holes, stains tears etc. are described as accurately as possible and photographed to provide you with the best available information to make your purchasing decisions. Anything that is beyond repair or too damaged to be considered wearable is promptly removed from our stock. Due to the nature of the vintage clothing industry, most of the items we carry are one of a kind, very rarely do we have items in multiple sizes or colors.

For a variety of reasons, clothing industry sizing standards have changed drastically over the years so that vintage sizes are rarely the same as modern day sizes. To assist you with sizing, we use actual measurements to determine an item’s accurate size. This accounts for both the difference in present and past sizing standards as well as any shrinking that may have occurred. For this reason, the measurements will ALWAYS take priority over the size on the tag. The size on the tag (if available) will be posted, along with the actual size indicated by the measurements. Items cannot be returned due to sizing issues. Please use the sizing information and measurements to determine if an item is right for you.
